This was for the hubby's birthday - to accompany an asian-themed dinner party inspired by his birthday coinciding with Thai New Year. I modified a brownie & ice-cream cake recipe I found online, and added two vanilla cake layers - separated by french vanilla ice-cream and covered in french vanilla frosting. I picked up a can of vanilla cream wafer sticks in the grocery and cut them to different lengths to provide a "bamboo" effect around the cake. Yummy!
